First, you have to comply with the state procedures for teacher certification and eligibility. You need the work/H1B visa; the procedure is same as that for all other jobs. The school/orgaization should be ready/willing to sponsor one for a work visa.

From your description it looks like you are moving to a new company.
I know someone who got 140 approved with MS+1. Were you a test engineer or a "Software Engineer in Test". In companies like Msft, Google and a few others the "Software Engineer in Test" people write more code than the Developers. In those cases, they can say that they did code development. I'm not sure if that would apply to your case.
Also, in big companies(at least in mine) and I know at least one more, they do not give the job description when you talk to HR for a letter. They give a letter saying Mr/Ms xx worked in our company from date x to date x. That's it. So the question is in those cases how to get a job description letter. I have heard people getting letters from colleagues certifying their work experiences. So if you have a colleague who can certify the coding you did and if your company does not give the job description but only your period of work, you can combine the two letters and apply for EB2.
I was a test engineer before - so I have to use "test engineer" only. I did quite a bit (50%) of automation also, but I don't think I could get it as 100% in the "letter". So you don't think that test engineer position would qualify for EB2? What would INS normally do in case if I went ahead with test engineer position in EB2? 1. Print the phone numbers

3. Take your cell phone and call from your Car in the parking lot

Hi, I have a quite strange situation here:
I am from China. I have an approved EB2-NIW I-140 with priority date of 2/2008 and an EB1a 140 petition denied on 8/4/2010.
I filed an I-485 concurrently with my EB1a, along with EAD applications. I got my EAD on 11/2009 and used it to work already.
The strange part is, my I-485 case is still pending, even though my EB1a petition is denied. In fact, I received RFE for quality photos two weeks after my 140 was denied. I think this is a USCIS error because they think my 485 was linked to my EB2-NIW case.
Now, am I staying in the U.S. illegally even though technically my 485 petition is still pending?

Did any one of you receive receipts matching above criteria. I-140 approved from NSC and 485 sent to NSC.
Also respond if anyone is in the same boat as me waiting for receipts and matching above criteria.
I am on the same boat with you, my application was received on July2nd at 9.01 AM(NSC) and signed by R. MICKELS, I-140 was approved from NSC.
No receipts yet and not even the checks have been cashed:mad:

I got exact query.
All you need is Affidavits from you Father, Mother and any other close relative. Ask them to go to your local court house. There will be people sitting there who do prepare affidavits and notarize them. They need to do it on 10 Rupees stamp paper and get it notarized. They shall have the date of birth affidavit template at court house.
Once they have them, ask them to scan and send them to you to save time. Also ask them to DHL the originals so that you could recieve in 2 or 3days.

Till now EB2 India has much to cover till 2006 and then it will move fast. Also it seems very few People actually filed for EB2 after 2006 knowing the wait. Though we have aroun 24000 Perm for India (EB2/EB3) combined for 2007. Needless to say that USCIS data is very much required for Predicting Priority dates accurately

it could be because 2007 & 2008 folks, not having waited as long as the pre-2007 folks, haven't had as much cause to seek reprieve..

We were successful in getting good media coverage with flower campaign. Our San Jose rally is getting good regional coverage. Yes, we haven't had the expected success with national media yet but we are gaining traction at an amazing pace.
This is not a big corporation with some PR dept. that is working with hundred of employees writing press releases et al. Volunteers like you and me have to take on that action item if you want to see results otherwise please continue on with your discussion
That is absolutely right, it is our job to write to reporters and call them, if we want good publicity. Please digg, write to reporters, do not just wait on the sidelines and see if we have gotten any coverage. We wont get any by just being on the forums discussing.
On a second note, gsc999 worked very hard organising the San Jose rally, and personally I saw a lot of dedication on his part and some other members. People came upto him and asked him to arrange another rally next week. He answered it very well. Why dont people take ownership and organise things on their own, rather than just giving out suggestions and expecting other people to do the tough work.

Can you start residency on EAD if you are the primary for 485? Meaning, can you use AC21 and change jobs from research to residency after 180 days from filing? Please help, really confused.

I am not sure why you all are all so worried about finger printing. No one is getting their GC anytime soon. PD for both EB2 and EB3 is either unavailable or in 2001. Even if FP takes a little while, don't worry.
I have a friend who never got finger printed till he got his GC. So relax.
